Local food historian Paula Marcoux will recount a bit of her current research, as she follows the thread of Plymouth’s Clam Muddle deep into the archives, glimpsing tantalizing mid-19th-century connections among elite white Plymoutheans and newly-arrived Southern Black refugees along the way. This is ongoing work, and Paula could use help with some mid-20th-century information gaps in the story. Have you ever eaten Clam Muddle? Do you happen to remember native Plymouthean George L.
