The Plymouth Antiquarian Society is proud to participate in First Fridays Plymouth, a new initiative highlighting arts and culture in the Plymouth Bay Cultural District. On the first Friday of every month (May through October) from 5 to 8 PM, the Hedge House Museum will be open for free mini tours. Each month we will select a theme and curate our display to showcase different types of art in the Plymouth Antiquarian Society’s collections.
This month we will be highlighting unique objects connected to Plymouth’s maritime past, in celebration of the Official Maritime Salute to the 400th Anniversary. Discover the history of overseas trade, whaling, and more.
Entry into the Hedge House for this special opening will be on a first-come, first-served basis. Due to the small size of the rooms, visitors may be asked to wait outside until space is available for them to enter. Thank you in advance for your patience! Non-vaccinated guests are advised to wear masks.
