Lunchtime Conversation

Plymouth’s Industrial Past

You’re invited to join the Antiquarian Society for a midday, midweek virtual gathering. This month’s program will highlight some of the major 19th- and 20th-century factories along Plymouth’s waterfront, most of which have been demolished. Dr. Anne Mason will provide an introduction to the Plymouth Cordage Historical Society, an all-volunteer organization that preserves the history of this important rope manufacturer founded in North Plymouth in 1824.
