Job Posting: Administrative Assistant

The Plymouth Antiquarian Society is seeking a year-round, part-time (10 hours/week) Administrative Assistant for our small but busy office. The position provides general administrative support to the Executive Director, helping to ensure the smooth day-to-day operation of our nonprofit organization. Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following: answering the phone; greeting members and visitors; preparing mailings; managing general correspondence and inquiries; updating and maintaining membership and donor records; organizing and maintaining files; preparing and distributing press releases and event notices by mail and email; assisting with coordination of events and programs; assisting with social media marketing.
Qualifications: Exceptional organizational skills, excellent attention to detail, strong writing skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office, and ability to multi-task required. Professional manner, positive attitude, and good work ethic are all essential. Proficiency in Constant Contact, WordPress, and Past Perfect preferred. Candidate should have a minimum of two years’ experience in office administration.
