The first of our 2025 Burial Hill Tours, in partnership with Pilgrim Hall Museum, is just around the corner! Kicking off the series, our first tour will take place on February 1 at 1 p.m. and will be led by Dr. Donna Curtin, Executive Director of Pilgrim Hall Museum. Donna will present a tour titled, “A Revolutionary Love Story.” Join tour group at the very top of the Hill for this one-hour tour.
Located at the heart of downtown Plymouth, Burial Hill is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. It is a fascinating spot with so many layers of history. We look forward to bringing you 11 tours in 2025, each focused on a different theme or aspect of the history of the burying ground and lives of those who were laid to rest there. This year, in recognition of the 250th anniversary of the beginning of the American Revolution, each one of our tours will reflect on some aspect of the history of that era.
Stay tuned for the release of the full 2025 Burial Hill Tours calendar—we look forward to exploring history with you throughout the year!

About the Series
The Burial Hill tour program was originally launched in 2011 by the Plymouth Antiquarian Society, in collaboration with Pilgrim Hall Museum. The two organizations began co-presenting the series in 2016. In 2025 themed history tours will be offered at the ancient burying ground at 1 pm on the first Saturday of each month from February through December. This popular series features local historians who share their expertise on a fascinating range of topics, highlighting art, history, and culture in the open-air museum at the heart of downtown Plymouth. Tours begin at the top of the Hill and last approximately one hour.
