Yarn Pop By the Sea

“Seas” the day and join us for Plymouth’s second annual Yarn Pop! The Hedge House will be one of the featured locations for this community-wide installation in May 2022. Yarn Pop By the Sea will celebrate Plymouth’s coastal location and rich maritime history.

This public art display is presented by the Plymouth Bay Cultural District and Plymouth Harbor Knits. It is funded in part by the Mass Cultural Council.

How to Participate

Knitters, crocheters, and felters are invited to participate in this installation by creating sea-themed creatures, plants, and other nautical items.

Use worsted or chunky acrylic, wool, or cotton yarn that can withstand the outside elements and not bleed.

Use up your stash, or stop by the Plymouth Harbor Knits shop for discounted yarns (up to 75% off on designated yarns for Yarn Pop participants).

Drop off your creations at Plymouth Harbor Knits (Village Landing Marketplace) by April 4, 2022. Please enclose all items in sealed plastic bags to ensure everyone’s health and safety. Call 774-283-4704 with any questions.
